Steracle is a noun pronounced as /stare•ra•cul/. The word is of obscure origins, however, it could have stemmed from 'stare' which traces to Old English 'starian,' which corresponds to (Middle) Low German/Dutch 'staren,' Old High German 'starên,' Middle High German 'starn,' Old Norse 'stara,' and Norwegian 'stara,' which all means 'to gaze fixedly and with eyes wide open.' It means A spectacle, show.

This was such an obsolete word that tracing it's etymology was bloody difficult. In the end, it's still of obscure origins as you've seen. I'm terrible at coming up with sentences to use the word, so you'll have to forgive for its current usage.

Greetings all,
[Filling in what I would have written during the time of this journal]
I have an obsession. And I don't know what it is because its really a random and spontaneous obsession. Right now though, I'm really attacking the tissue box like a mad gorilla. Poor nose, I wonder how cracked it'll get to be after this episode of sickness. Not like a desert I hope. That would be a nightmare.
